Why Invest in Dog Training?
A well-trained dog responds to recall, avoids danger, and is safer in public spaces and off-leash areas
Training builds trust, communication, and a deeper relationship between you and your dog
Address issues like pulling, jumping, barking, and anxiety through structured positive methods
What Makes Training at PAWS Different
We believe training should happen in the real world — not in a sterile classroom. That is why our group classes take place outdoors, where your dog faces the same distractions they encounter every day: other dogs, cyclists, squirrels, and city noise.
Our approach is positive but structured. We reject aversive tools — no prong collars, no shock collars, no e-collars. Instead, we focus on building leadership, clear communication, and calm-assertive energy. Your dog learns to follow because they trust you, not because they fear correction.
The C.O.O.L. course with Cultured Canines goes far beyond sit, stay, and come. It is a complete lifestyle course — 34 hours covering obedience, off-leash reliability, safety around traffic, and real-world socialization. Most dogs achieve off-leash reliability by week five.
For dogs that need focused attention, our board & train program combines in-home boarding with daily professional training. Your dog returns to you with new skills and better habits, practiced in real-life situations — not just on command in a quiet room.
